Liverpool have approved Naby Keita seeking medical treatment from RB Leipzig's physio and doctor after he suffered a calf injury.

Keita picked up the injury while training with the Guinea national team and had to postpone a planned break to New York to seek treatment.

He is still under contract with RB Leipzig and is due to join Liverpool officially from 1st July.

Keita contacted RB Leipzig physio Alexander Sekora and club doctor Frank Striegler to request treatment.

According to German outlet SportBuzzer, Liverpool were informed and had no objection to Keita being treated by the Bundesliga club.
