AC Milan have conceded that signing Alvaro Morata from Chelsea will be difficult without Champions League football.

The Rossoneri have been showing interest in taking the Spanish striker back to Serie A after his difficult season at Stamford Bridge.

Morata has also attracted interest from other clubs, meaning AC Milan are up against it when it comes to signing him.

And according to Sky Italia, the Rossoneri think a lack of Champions League football means Morata is a tough target to land.

AC Milan finished in sixth place in Serie A in the recently concluded season, finishing eight points off the top four.
