A representative of Roma goalkeeper Alisson has arrived in London to hold talks with Chelsea over a possible summer switch to Stamford Bridge for the Brazilian, who is also wanted by Liverpool.

The 25-year-old shot-stopper’s future at Roma has been under the scanner for several months due to interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe in his services.

Liverpool, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have all been linked with having an interest in the Brazilian and it seems another Premier League club have joined the transfer chase.

Chelsea are claimed to be interested in Alisson and according to Italian daily Il Messaggero a representative of the goalkeeper arrived in London last week to hold talks with the Blues.

More discussions are scheduled to take place in the coming days between the club and Alisson’s representatives as Chelsea look to firm up their interest in the goalkeeper.

Chelsea are alive to the scenario of Thibaut Courtois leaving the club this summer and are working towards identifying a replacement for their first choice goalkeeper.

The Belgian has a year left on his contract with Chelsea and has so far refused to sign on fresh terms, with Liverpool and Real Madrid believed to be interested in him.

Roma are also aware of the interest in Alisson and are hopeful of convincing the Brazilian to sign a new and improved deal, but a decision is only expected after the World Cup.
