Arsenal have held a meeting with the representatives of Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, but AC Milan remain favourites to win the race for his signature.

Powerful midfielder Fellaini is out of contract at Old Trafford this summer and has resisted attempts by the Red Devils to convince him to sign a new deal.

He looks to be on the way out and several clubs are alive to the possibility of signing him this summer.

New Arsenal boss Unai Emery wanted Fellaini at Paris Saint-Germain and has continued his desire now he is in the Emriates Stadium dugout.

According to French outlet Foot365, Arsenal have held talks with the Belgian's representatives but, despite doing so, remain behind AC Milan in the race for his signature.
