Napoli are interested in signing West Ham target Javier Pastore this summer, but the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder would have to take a significant wage cut to move to Italy.

The 28-year-old Argentine’s future at PSG has been subject to much speculation over the last few transfer windows, but the player has managed to continue at the Parc des Princes.




There is again talk of Pastore leaving PSG this summer and there are suggestions that he is attracting interest from West Ham in the Premier League in the ongoing window.

His agent was recently in London to hold talks with West Ham, but the former Palermo midfielder has always been keen to return to Italy and it seems there interest in him from Serie A.
 


According to French outlet Buzz Sport, former PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti wants to reunite with Pastore at Napoli and is pushing to take him to the San Paolo in the ongoing summer transfer window.

A return to Italy is more appealing for the Argentine, but his high wages at PSG have always been a stumbling block for club wanting to sign him over the last few windows.

The player would have to agree to take a significant wage cut if Napoli are to be successful in their pursuit of the 28-year-old this summer.

West Ham are still keen and could offer significantly higher wages than Napoli, but the player prefers a return to Italy.
