Chelsea have been linked with having an interest in signing Napoli attacker Jose Callejon, who is also a target for AC Milan.

The 31-year-old Spaniard was a key part of Maurizio Sarri’s Napoli side that finished second in Serie A last season and earned the respect of many for their style of football.

Sarri is expected to become the new Chelsea manager in the coming days and the former banker is expected to raid the San Paolo for some players in the summer transfer window.

And according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea are considering making a move for Callejon in the coming days and weeks as they look to take him to Stamford Bridge.

The former Real Madrid man scored 12 goals and provided 17 assists last season and Sarri is considering adding his attacking talent to the Chelsea squad this summer.

The attacker has a buy-out clause in his contract and the Blues are prepared to trigger it to snare him away from the Serie A giants.

AC Milan are also interested in Callejon and a potential swap deal involving Gianluigi Donnarumma has been mooted for the Spaniard to join the Rossoneri.

The Spaniard has two years left on his current deal with Napoli.
