Mousa Dembele has insisted that he will only leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer for a club outside England.

The midfielder has a year left on his contract with the north London outfit and has so far resisted an offer to sign a new deal with Spurs, with his future now believed to be hanging in the balance.

He has been attracting furious interest from Italy, with Inter, Juventus and Napoli keen on signing him, and the midfielder also has offers to move to China in the ongoing window.

Dembele is unlikely to take a call on his future at Tottenham before the World Cup ends, but remained coy on the question of whether he will be definitely leaving the Premier League outfit this summer.

However, he assured Tottenham fans that he will definitely not be joining another English club.

Dembele told Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws: “I won’t say that I’m leaving Spurs right now.

“Or that I’m staying.

“If I leave, I won’t join another English club. Tottenham are my team.”

Joining Tottenham from Fulham in 2012, the midfielder has racked up 233 appearances for Spurs, scoring 12 goals and providing 15 assists for his team-mates.
