Watford are prepared to lower their financial demands for midfielder Roberto Pereyra, who is a target for Torino this summer.

The Argentinian midfielder joined Watford from Juventus in 2016 and has been a key part of the Hornets squad over the last two season, making 47 appearances in total.

The 27-year-old has attracted interest from Italian clubs this summer and Torino and Fiorentina reportedly enquired about the possibility of taking him back to Serie A.

But Watford’s €30m asking price for Pereyra was considered excessive by both Italian clubs, who were in no mood to do a deal at such figures.

However, there seems to be an opening again for Pereyra to leave Watford as according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the Hornets are ready to lower their financial demands.

It has been claimed that the Premier League club could consider selling the midfield man if they receive offers around the €20m mark.

Torino are still interested in the former Juventus man and while the current asking price is also said to be something they are not prepared to pay, the Serie A club believe a deal could be done.

The Turin-based outfit are set to again approach the possibility of signing Pereyra this summer.
