Paris Saint-Germain Fail With Bid For Manchester United Defensive Target

Juventus have knocked back an offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Manchester United defensive target Alex Sandro.

The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move away from Juventus this summer, with a number of big wigs believed to be keeping tabs on him.

Manchester United have identified him as their top target for the left-back position, but the Premier League giants are yet to make a concrete move for him.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been interested in signing the full-back and it seems the French champions have made a move to take him from the Bianconeri.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, PSG placed a bid of around €40m on Juventus’ table, but the Italian champions rejected the offer from the Parisians.

Juventus are not ready to sell the Brazilian at such a price and are believed to be eyeing a fee of around €60m before allow him to depart the club this summer.

However, Sandro’s exit is expected to take place as talks between his representatives and Juventus over a new deal have not gone anywhere.

It remains to be seen whether any of his suitors are prepared to match Juventus’ asking price or the Bianconeri are forced to lower their financial demands.
