AC Milan and Chelsea linked winger Bernard has been offered to Inter, but the Nerazzurri are yet to show a clear interest in the Brazilian.
The 25-year-old is available on a free transfer this summer after he decided against extending his contract with Shakhtar Donetsk at the end of last season.
His agent has been in talks with a number of clubs over finding a new home for his client and Chelsea are one of outfits who are interested in signing the Brazilian winger.
Bernard’s representatives recently held talks with AC Milan, but the Serie A giants’ financial offer was short of what the player has been demanding this summer.
His agent has been canvassing interest from other clubs as well and according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, Inter also received an invitation to consider signing the winger in the ongoing window.
However, the Nerazzurri’s answer to being offered Bernard is not clear and there is little to suggest that they would consider signing the player this summer.
Chelsea are keen to get a deal over the line, but Bernard’s heart is set on a move to AC Milan and he is pushing his agents to agree terms with the Rossoneri.
It remains to be seen whether the Serie A giants agree to meet his demands or Inter look to jump into the race in the coming days and weeks.
