Arsenal and Everton midfield target Steven N’Zonzi is waiting for an offer from the Premier League in the final week of the window.

The French World Cup winner wants to leave Sevilla this summer and has an offer on his table from Serie A giants Roma for a proposed move to Italy.

The Giallorossi have put forward a contract worth €3m per year and are hopeful of convincing the midfielder to consider a transfer to the Stadio Olimpico in the ongoing window.

However, N’Zonzi is claimed to be asking for a contract worth €4m per season because of interest from Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Everton.

And according to Italian daily Tuttosport, the midfielder is waiting for an approach from one of his suitors in England before taking a decision on his future in the coming weeks.

The Premier League transfer window slams shut next Thursday and time is running out for either Arsenal or Everton to make a concrete move for the 29-year-old midfielder.

Roma sporting director Monchi is prepared to wait until the window for the Premier League clubs closes before making progress for N’Zonzi.

The Giallorossi have a week more than the Premier League clubs to complete their incoming transfers.
