Fiorentina are advanced negotiations with Everton for the signature of Belgian winger Kevin Mirallas this summer.

Mirallas spent the second half of last season on loan at Olympiacos and is not part of Everton’s plans going forward into the new campaign.

The Toffees are looking to offload the attacker and have found a taker in Italy in the form of Fiorentina, who are interested in taking the Belgian to the Artemio Franchi Stadium.

The two clubs have been in touch with Mirallas and according to Sky Italia, they are advanced negotiations for the 30-year-old winger’s proposed move to Italy.

Fiorentina have offered to sign him on a loan deal with an option to make the move permanent for a fee of around €2.7m.

The two clubs have a broad agreement in place, but they are still working out the modalities of the operation, with an outright transfer for Mirallas to Fiorentina still on the table.

If Everton insist on selling him this summer then Fiorentina are expected to pay a lower figure for Mirallas.

The Belgian is likely to leave Everton and has been training separately from the first team squad.
