Inter have re-established contact with the agents of Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian.

The Italy international full-back has been tipped for an exit from Old Trafford this summer, but Manchester United have been firm on wanting a substantial sum for his services.

Juventus have all but ended their interest in Darmian, but Napoli are still in the mix and Carlo Ancelotti is open to adding the full-back to his squad.

Inter were linked with Darmian earlier this summer and, according to Sky Italia, they have now again made contact with the defender's agents.

The Nerazzurri are aware that Napoli could soon move strongly to sign Darmian.

Inter coach Luciano Spalletti is currently experimenting with his squad over pre-season.

And it is claimed Spalletti will decide over the coming days what type of players he is looking for in the remaining time left in the transfer window.

So far no side have yet to reach an agreement with Manchester United for Darmian.
