Newcastle United are keen to secure Paris Saint-Germain youngster Stanley N'Soki, according to Sky Sports News, a player who has also been linked with Arsenal.

N'Soki has been linked with a departure from the Parc des Princes this summer and could make the move to the Premier League.

Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez is keen to see signings made soon as the transfer window clock ticks down and talks to do a deal for N'Soki have taken place.

The defender would add to Benitez's options at the back, but it is far from clear whether Newcastle can land him.

And any indication N'Soki is preparing to leave PSG could bring Arsenal into the race, with the Gunners having been linked with the 19-year-old; new Arsenal boss Unai Emery worked with the player in France and gave him his senior PSG debut last season.

N'Soki came through the youth ranks at the French giants.

He broke through to the senior team under Emery and featured against Caen in his Ligue 1 bow.

N'Soki has been capped by France at Under-20 level and played against Arsenal in the International Champions Cup this summer.
