Nice have been frightened off signing Arsenal target M'Baye Niang after being quoted an asking price by Torino.

The former AC Milan talent is a man in demand this summer and though Torino would like to keep hold of him, they are not against letting him leave for the right price.

Arsenal are claimed to be keen on Niang, while there is also interest from Sampdoria.

But it appears Nice are no longer in the mix as, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Torino's asking price has scared them off.

It has been claimed that Torino have ruled out letting Niang leave on loan.

And the Serie A side want at least €15m to rubber stamp the winger's sale.

Nice have now cooled their interest in Niang, though they could rethink the situation if Mario Balotelli is sold.

Balotelli has been attracting interest from several clubs this summer and has just a year left on his Nice contract.
