The agent of Barcelona defender Yerry Mina has demanded that the Catalans sit down at the table with Everton and Lyon.

Barcelona have decided to offload Mina this summer, despite only having signed the defender from Palmeiras in January and seeing him excel at the World Cup with Colombia in Russia.

The centre-back has been linked with a host of clubs, including recently Manchester United, but according to Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo, only Everton and Lyon have so far put in official offers.

Mina wants his future to be clarified and as such, his agent has contacted Barcelona to demand they sit down with Everton and Lyon.

So far, Barcelona have refused to do so and want an auction to develop for Mina.

They feel that the pressure of the Premier League transfer window for signings closing on 9th August could push up the final price.

Everton and Lyon have got close to Barcelona's €30m asking price, but now the Catalan side feel they may even be able to earn €40m from selling the Colombian.

Mina is due to join up with Barcelona on 6th August, following his post World Cup holidays.
