Paul Pogba’s refusal to cut short his holidays has further strained his relationship with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho and Juventus are keeping close tabs on his situation.

Pogba proved his mettle this summer when he played a pivotal role from midfield in France’s World Cup triumph and he is again being tracked by the biggest clubs in Europe.

His relationship with Mourinho hit a bumpy road last season as he lost his place in the starting eleven before quickly regaining it and ending the campaign again as a starter.

The Manchester United manager has been keen to see some of his players involved in the latter stages of the World Cup return early and the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford have answered the call.

However, Pogba has refused to cut short his break and according to Turin-based daily Tuttosport, it has created further tension between the midfielder and the Manchester United manager.

While Manchester United are not keen to sell Pogba, the Frenchman and Mourinho have issues to sort out in the coming days in order to get the best out of the club’s record buy.

Juventus are interested in Pogba, but a proposed move depends on Miralem Pjanic’s future, and he is not leaning towards leaving the Italian champions.

Barcelona have also been keen on the Frenchman, but they are understood to have backed out because of the potential cost of the deal.
