Everton are set to complete the capture of Manchester United target Yerry Mina from Barcelona.

The Toffees are closing in on Mina, having identified the Colombia international as someone they want to add to their squad before the transfer window closes for Premier League clubs to sign players on 9th August.

They are now close to completing the signing and, according to Catalan daily Sport, have an agreement with Barcelona on the basis of a €32m fee.

Mina has also agreed a five-year contract with Everton and the two clubs are now putting the finishing touches to the transfer.

The defender has been on the radar of Manchester United, while Wolves have also been linked with being keen on him.

Mina impressed with his performances at the World Cup, but could not change Barcelona's mind and the continued to not be in the plans of coach Ernesto Valverde.
