Newcastle United and West Ham midfield target Stefano Sturaro is unlikely to move to England because of the early closure of the Premier League window.

The midfielder was a bit part player at Juventus last season and the club have been willing to listen to offers to sell him during the transfer window.

He has attracted serious interest from the Premier League, with clubs such Newcastle, West Ham and Leicester City reportedly registering bids with Juventus.

But Sturaro is still in Turin and it has been claimed that he is highly unlikely to play for a Premier League team in the upcoming season.

According to Italian daily Tuttosport, with the Premier League transfer window closing on Thursday, the English clubs do not have the required amount of time to close out a deal with Juventus.

Fiorentina and Lazio are interested in Sturaro and they have more time than the Premier League clubs to reach an agreement with Juventus.

The Italian champions are prepared to even loan him, but the possibility of postponing his departure until January has also not been ruled out.

Sturaro made just 12 appearances in Serie A last season.
