Manchester United have made a higher offer than Everton for Yerry Mina, it has been claimed in Spain.

Everton have offered €32m to sign Mina from the Catalan giants and the Toffees also have an agreement on a contract with the defender's representatives.

The contract on the table for Mina at Goodison Park is lucrative and the defender had fully intended to make the move to Merseyside.

But according to Catalan daily Sport, Manchester United have been in touch with Barcelona to better Everton's bid.

It is claimed that Manchester United have put several million more euros on the table for Mina.

Now all eyes are on how the transfer saga unfolds and where the Colombia centre-back ends up.

Mina could also yet end up in France.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has refused to rule out his side from the race for Mina's signature and expressed his desire to take the defender to the Ligue 1 club.
