AC Milan have approached Chelsea to enquire about taking Lucas Piazon on loan for the season.

The Brazilian spent last season on loan in the Championship with Fulham and helped the Craven Cottage outfit to win promotion.

His future is uncertain and now AC Milan have made an attempt to put themselves at the front of the queue to sign Piazon.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, AC Milan have approached Chelsea to loan the 24-year-old.

Chelsea have sent Piazon out on a host of loan spells since he joined the club's youth ranks from Sao Paulo, spending time at Malaga, Vitesse, Eintracht Frankfurt and Reading, in addition to his Fulham stint.

Piazon could find opportunities at Stamford Bridge hard to come by and AC Milan will be hoping Chelsea agree to a loan deal.
