Paul Pogba has told Manchester United that he has an agreement in place with Barcelona, but Jose Mourinho is blocking the deal from happening, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it.

Super agent Mino Raiola has been working on a deal to take his client from Old Trafford to the Camp Nou.

But there have been doubts over whether Manchester United would sell Pogba, especially given the transfer window for Premier League clubs now only runs until Thursday, giving little time to bring in a replacement.

It is claimed however that Pogba has told Manchester United he has an agreement with Barcelona on personal terms.

But Mourinho is said to be blocking the midfielder's exit.

The Portuguese is unlikely to want to see his squad made weaker before the Premier League transfer window closes.

Manchester United were one of five clubs to vote against the Premier League deciding to shorten its transfer window, with a date no other European country fell into line with.

And the Red Devils do not want to be stung by not being able to replace Pogba.
