Tiemoue Bakayoko’s representatives are currently locked in talks with AC Milan over a proposed loan move to Italy for the Chelsea midfielder.

Bakayoko had a disappointing first season at Chelsea following his move from Monaco last summer and is now expected to leave the club after just one year at Stamford Bridge.

AC Milan have opened talks with Chelsea to sign the Frenchman on an initial loan deal with an option to make the move permanent on the basis of his performances at the San Siro.

And it seems negotiations have been progressing smoothly and according to Sky Italia, Bakayoko’s representatives are currently meeting the AC Milan hierarchy to move the deal forward.

Chelsea have already signed Jorginho this summer and with Mateo Kovacic is also expected to join from Real Madrid on loan, Bakayoko is not expected to be a huge part of Maurizio Sarri’s plans.

The midfielder is said to be considering the move to Italy and AC Milan are trying to finalise an agreement with his agents at the moment.

Chelsea paid £40m to sign the Frenchman from Monaco but it seems his time at Stamford Bridge is going to be short-lived.

He made 43 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions last season but failed to leave a good enough impression.
