Mauricio Pochettino has conceded that Tottenham Hotspur are going to struggle to bring in any players in the remaining hours of the Premier League transfer window.

Tottenham are yet to sign a player this summer and moves for players such as Jack Grealish have stalled as Aston Villa have changed their tune on his the winger’s future at the club.

Pochettino insisted at the end of last season that Tottenham would need to show intent in the market to develop further, but he is still waiting for the first addition to his squad on the final day of the transfer window.

And with less than four hours left in the window, the Tottenham manager is losing faith that the club will be able to add to the team that finished third in the Premier League last season.

He admits the club will continue to try until the final minute but conceded that signing anyone at this late stage would be an uphill task.

Speaking about any possible incomings, the Tottenham manager said in a press conference: "I think it's so difficult now. Only four hours to the end.

“I don't have news now.

"Sure it will be difficult.

“Until you finish the game you can't say it's the end.

"It will be difficult."

Pochettino has also revealed that the club are yet to receive bids on the final day for any of their players.
