Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is yet to travel to Merseyside despite Everton trying to push through a deal to sign him on loan.
Everton have been one of the busiest clubs on the Premier League's transfer deadline day and have already signed Yerry Mina, Andres Gomes and Bernard on last minute deals.
And now they are trying to push through an agreement to sign Zouma on a season-long loan deal and have submitted a deal sheet with the Premier League to get more time to complete the move.
They have already agreed personal terms on a contract with the Frenchman over a loan move but for the moment, the defender is staying put in London.
And according to Sky Sports News, he is yet to take the trip to Merseyside to complete the formalities of the loan move to Goodison Park.
Everton could conduct a medical in London and get through the relevant paperwork in order to save time but for the moment Zouma remains a Chelsea player.
The Toffees are pushing hard but they have an hour more to get the deal over the line to sign the Frenchman.
