Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa says he cannot say whether the Whites will do any transfer business today.

The transfer window for permanent signings to be made ends at 5pm today, however, Leeds can still sign players on loan until 31st August and those loans can have a permanent deal agreed to kick in for the next transfer window.

As such, Leeds will effectively be able to sign players permanently beyond today and the jury is out on whether they will do any business by 5pm.

Bielsa has been unable to shed any light on what will happen.

He told a press conference when asked: "I can't give you a definite answer.

"If I had something concrete I would let you know."

The Leeds boss admits he will be happy when the window has closed as he is a fan of knowing what squad he will have for an extended period of time.

"I like when things are clear. I don't like periods when we have uncertainty", Bielsa added.

Leeds are thought to still be in the market to make signings this summer, but are in no rush to do deals today.
