Besiktas have thrashed out personal terms on a contract with David Ospina and are now pushing to agree a deal with Arsenal.

Arsenal are unlikely to sign anyone on Premier League deadline day, but the club are looking to offload a few players this summer, with Ospina believed to be one of the prime candidates.

The arrival of Bernd Leno this summer further pushed the Colombian down the pecking order and he has been looking for a new club in the transfer window.

And according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, the goalkeeper could be on his way to Turkish giants Besiktas and has already reached an agreement over a contract with the club.

Besiktas are yet to reach an agreement with Arsenal but they are pushing to get a deal over the line in order to take Ospina to Turkey this summer.

The Turkish giants have no need to hurry as they have until the end of the month to complete their incomings and outgoings in the transfer window.

Ospina has also been on Napoli’s radar but Arsenal are said to have rejected a loan bid from the Serie A giants.
