Emil Forsberg, who has been linked with AC Milan and Arsenal, will not be leaving RB Leipzig this summer, his agent says.

While a move to Arsenal or any Premier League club is now off the agenda until at least January, Forsberg could still join other clubs across Europe, with the transfer window still open everywhere else.




But the Sweden international's agent insists that his client will stay at RB Leipzig heading into the new season.

Hasan Cetinkaya, who has met with RB Leipzig officials, told German daily Bild: "Yes, I can confirm the meeting.
 


"We talked about Emil's future.

"Emil has a contract here until 2022.

"And he does not want to leave Leipzig this summer", the agent added.

The 26-year-old made 33 appearances across all competitions for RB Leipzig last season, contributing with five goals and four assists.

Forsberg has regularly been linked with a move away from RB Leipzig in recent years, catching the eye with his impressive performances in the Bundesliga.

RB Leipzig open their new Bundesliga campaign away at Boruddia Dortmund on 26th August.
