Tottenham Hotspur linked Wilfried Zaha has insisted that he was not paying any attention to the transfer speculation around him, after he scored Crystal Palace's second in a 2-0 win at Fulham.

The former Manchester United winger has played a key role in keeping Crystal Palace in the Premier League over the last few seasons and is considered the talisman of Roy Hodgson’s side.

It was widely rumoured that the Ivorian was on Tottenham’s radar during the transfer window, but Crystal Palace were adamant about not selling their star man in the summer.

Ultimately Tottenham didn’t sign any players in the transfer window and the winger claimed that he paid little heed to what was being said about his future with the Eagles.

He stressed that his focus was on keeping his head down and working hard toward doing well for Crystal Palace.

Zaha was quoted as saying by the BBC after the win at Craven Cottage: “I have just had my head down and it was not something I was involved in.

“I am with Palace and I don’t have time to think about the speculation.”

If Zaha continues to turn on the style, he is likely to again be an attractive prospect for clubs in the January transfer window.
