Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has arrived in Milan ahead of completing his loan move to Serie A giants AC Milan.

Bakayoko is on the way out at Stamford Bridge and is set to play his football in the Italian top flight this season.

He landed at Milan-Linate airport earlier today and has made his way to the Westin Palace hotel in Milan as he waits for the conclusion of his loan deal.

Bakayoko could sign his loan contract on Monday, with things moving quickly.

The deal is set to take the form of a season-long loan, with AC Milan having an option to sign him on a permanent basis for a set fee of £35m.

Chelsea only bought Bakayoko last summer from Monaco, paying £40m to take him to Stamford Bridge.

But the midfielder failed to make the impact which had been hoped for by the Blues.
