Frosinone are negotiating a permanent move for out-of-favour Arsenal attacker Joel Campbell and have prepared a three-year contract for the Costa Rican.

Campbell spent last season on loan in Spain at Real Betis and is not part of new Arsenal head coach Unai Emery’s thoughts going forward.

The winger has had a spate of loan spells since joining Arsenal in 2011 and has made just 40 senior appearances for the north London club over the years.

Frosinone are reportedly in talks to sign the attacker from the Gunners and according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, this time Campbell is set to leave on a permanent transfer.

The negotiations have entered a decisive phase and the two clubs are expected to reach an agreement over the Costa Rican’s transfer in the coming days.

The newly promoted Serie A outfit are confident of getting a deal over the line and have already prepared a three-year deal for the 26-year-old winger.

However, it is still unclear what sort of fee Arsenal are prepared to accept for a player who only has a year left on his contract with the club.
