Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina will arrive in Italy during the early hours of Thursday morning to put the finishing touches to his move to Napoli.

The Serie A giants have reached an agreement for Ospina, who is well down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.

Napoli are signing Ospina on loan with a right to buy, however the purchase agreement could become mandatory over the course of the season if certain targets are met.

The Serie A side are now moving to close the deal and, according to Sky Italia, he will arrive in Italy overnight.

Ospina will then undergo his medical checks with Napoli in order to be put at the disposal of coach Carlo Ancelotti.

It is claimed that the targets in the deal which would see Napoli forced to sign Ospina from Arsenal are tough to reach.
