Parma are closing in on winger Yann Karamoh, who Inter refused to let go to West Ham United earlier this summer.

Inter coach Luciano Spalletti rates Karamoh highly and had been pushing for him to remain at the San Siro.

West Ham saw a loan bid for Karamoh knocked back, but continued to maintain their interest in the face of Inter's stance refusing to change.

But Karamoh could be playing his football away from Inter this season with Parma pushing to loan him.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Parma are to hold a meeting on Thursday in a bid to put the finishing touches to a move.

It is unclear what the formula of the move will be, but Parma want to snap up Karamoh quickly.

And with the Premier League transfer window firmly closed, West Ham will be unable to enter the mix for the highly rated 20-year-old.

He joined Inter in the summer of 2017 from French outfit Caen.

Karamoh made 16 appearances in Serie A last term, scoring one goal.
