Juventus are paying Arsenal €2m for the signature of young striker Stephy Mavididi.

The Bianconeri are wrapping up the signing of the 20-year-old before the Italian transfer window slams shut on Friday night.

According to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, the Serie A champions will pay Arsenal a fee of €2m for Mavididi, while the player himself will put pen to paper on a four-year contract in Turin.

Mavididi will not go into the Juventus first team squad however.

The Bianconeri are intending for the young striker to slot into their B team as he cuts his teeth in Italian football and continues to learn his trade.

Mavididi came through the youth ranks at Arsenal, but has not made a senior appearance for the club.

The 20-year-old has had several loan spells away from the Emirates Stadium, spending time at Charlton Athletic on two occasions and also at Preston North End.

Mavdidi will now look to kick on with his career in Italy.
