Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has indicated that he is prepared to sell unhappy players before the end of the month.

The north London club became the first Premier League side since the advent of the summer transfer window to not spend money on a single player for the first team in the just concluded window.

However, there are still rumours over the future of several players at Tottenham, with Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose and Mousa Dembele all being linked with a move away.

The transfer windows in all other European leagues, except Italy, will remain open until the end of the month and Pochettino conceded that he is open to selling unhappy players.

He insisted that he wants the right kind of spirit in the squad and is ready to find solutions for players who want to leave Tottenham.

Pochettino said in a press conference: "I told them, I am open to try to find a solution.

“I want people that feel happy to be involved here every day, happy to be in the place that the manager puts you.

"The only way to success is if we are 25 players, 40/50 staff, fans, board, all together working for one objective, to win games.

“I don’t want anyone upset, not happy.

“It’s so clear the rules, it’s so clear my message, I promise I will fix it if someone is not happy to be here for the next five months until the transfer window opens again."

Vincent Janssen is also looking for a new club and is not part of Pochettino’s plans at Tottenham.
