Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa believes that it is important for a team to have a number of attacking options because it is difficult to be an attacker.

The Argentine will have a difficult decision to make ahead of Saturday's Yorkshire derby against Rotherham United, with both of his main attacking options, Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford, being in good form.

While Roofe has scored two in two league games, Bamford has found the back of the net once, in the EFL Cup against Bolton Wanderers.

According to Bielsa it is a happy headache for him to have as the need is always to have a number of attacking players.

The Argentine believes that most of the time substitutes are attacking players, so options are needed.

"The majority of the substitutions you make are linked to the four offensive players. Why? It’s because it is very difficult to be an offensive player and it is very difficult to play well as an offensive player", Bielsa said at a press conference.

"It’s because it is very difficult to be an offensive player and it is very difficult to play well as an offensive player.

"That’s why it is very important to have many options for the offensive players.

"It’s very important to have two number nines, two tens, two elevens, two sevens.

"The quantity of players you have in these positions is never a problem, but if you have a small quantity it’s a problem."

The  Whites are unbeaten so far this season, winning two league matches and one EFL Cup tie.
