Marcelo Bielsa has insisted that his work at Leeds United should only be judged at the end of the season and indicated a good start means nothing if the Whites don’t achieve their goals.

The Argentine has been a breath of fresh air at Leeds since his arrival in the summer and has become the first manager at Elland Road to win his first four games in charge of the club in all competitions.

Another win over Rotherham on Saturday means Leeds have the maximum points from their first three league games and are being touted as potential promotion contenders.

However, Bielsa indicated that he doesn’t care much for records as a manager and stressed that it is important that people reserve their judgement on him and Leeds until the end of the season.

He insisted that achieving Leeds' goals is more important than his personal records.

The Leeds manager said in a press conference when asked about his side’s start to the season: “You make conclusions only at the end when you see whether we have reached the goals or not.

“Winning three games in a row from a mathematical point of view is the same thing when you win three games, but not in a row.”

Leeds will travel to south Wales next when they face Swansea City on Tuesday night at the Liberty Stadium.
