Lucas Moura has seen his performance in Tottenham Hotspur's 3-1 win over Fulham praised by Spurs legend Graham Roberts.

The Brazilian winger gave Spurs the lead in the 43rd minute of the Premier League contest at Wembley and though Aleksandr Mitrovic drew the visitors level in the 52nd minute, further goals from Kieran Trippier (74th minute) and Harry Kane (77th minute) sealed the deal for the hosts.

Lucas was left on for the entire 90 minutes by Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino and the Brazilian winger is starting to make his mark following a January move from Paris Saint-Germain.

Roberts was pleased with what he saw from Lucas, while the Tottenham legend also picked out Erik Lamela and Kane for praise.

He wrote on Twitter: "Nice start to the season, loved Lucas Moura's performance today, worked so hard and great goal also.

"Erik Lamela superb when came on and the man Harry Kane got us his August goal – another 50 goals to come this season", Roberts added.
