Besiktas have agreed a loan deal with Liverpool for Loris Karius and just need the goalkeeper to sign on the dotted line.

Karius is having the Anfield exit door opened for him by Jurgen Klopp after a disastrous display in the Champions League final which saw the Reds quickly sign Alisson as their new number 1 earlier this summer.

Besiktas want to give the German the chance to get his career back on track in Turkey.

And, according to French radio station RMC, they have found an agreement with Liverpool on the basis of a two-year loan.

The loan agreement will also contain a purchase option for Besiktas to activate if Karius does well in Turkey.

Liverpool and Besiktas have been in talks over a deal for several weeks, but only reached an agreement on Monday afternoon.

Karius must still put pen to paper to a loan agreement with Besiktas if the move is to go ahead.

It remains to be seen if Liverpool will refuse to let Simon Mignolet leave if Karius does go.
