Lyon still have to finalise several details with Manchester City before they can land Celtic target Jason Denayer.

Celtic have been keen on the Belgian centre-back, who had a prior loan spell at Parkhead, and Denayer is ready to move on from Manchester City to secure regular football.

But Lyon are set to beat Celtic to Denayer and the player is already in France.

The defender has agreed a four-year deal with the French giants, but according to Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws, the deal is not fully done yet.

Indeed, Lyon must still iron out several details with Manchester City before they can make the move official.

Denayer is set to depart Manchester City without having played a senior game for the club.

The Belgian has been out on several loan spells during the course of his time at the Etihad Stadium, with time spent at Celtic, Sunderland and Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Denayer will now bid to kick on and settle down at Lyon.
