Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has reflected on their opponents for Tuesday night, Swansea City, as a team that can take care of the ball very well.

The Whites have enjoyed a stellar start to the season under the Argentine and are now the only team in England’s second division with a 100 per cent record after the first three league games of the 2018/19 season.

Bielsa, who was close to joining the Welsh club in 2015, has spoken highly of the Whites’ opponents ahead of their Championship clash away from home on Tuesday.

The master tactician revealed that Swansea are a solid unit capable of moving the ball positively and with intent, earmarking them as no pushovers in the encounter.

“It’s a team that takes care of how they move the ball, where they put the ball”, Bielsa told a press conference today.

“The players of Swansea know how to build from the back.

In their style, the goalkeeper and defenders build from the back. And for me it’s the feature that you could underline from Swansea.

"But they also have different possibilities.

"They have a real number 9 and they have substitutes who can modify the physicality of the game”, he added.

After enduring a weekly schedule of fixtures, Bielsa will now have his first taste of the gruelling nature of the Championship when his team take the long route to Swansea on Tuesday, just days after their win over Rotherham on Saturday.
