Leeds United full-back Laurens De Bock has joined Belgian outfit KV Oostende on a season-long loan deal, with the player expected at training by his new side on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old was snapped up by the Whites in January this year from Club Brugge, and featured in seven games for the club over the course of last season.

The former Belgian Under-21 international though has not yet featured for Marcelo Bielsa's team this season and will now hope to enjoy more first team action than he did at his parent club.

The deal that has been struck with the Championship club though does not allow the Belgian club to make the move permanent and the player may return to Elland Road at the end of the spell.

De Bock was lauded as the answer to Leeds' left-back position when he arrived in January.
