Leeds United loanee Yosuke Ideguchi has welcomed the opportunity to play in Germany after securing a season-long loan deal to 2. Bundesliga side Greuther Furth.

The 21-year-old was snapped up by the Whites on a four-and-a-half year deal in January this year, though he is yet to play a single match for the club.

Ideguchi was immediately loaned out to Spanish side Cultural Leonesa after he signed, where he spent the rest of the season.

The Japanese international returned to Elland Road this summer and spent pre-season under head coach Marcelo Bielsa.

In spite of starting for the Peacocks in three of their pre-season friendlies he was not given a shirt number and has now been sent out on a loan spell.

The youngster though is eager to enjoy the opportunity he has been given and wants to be in the thick of German football over the course of the entire next season.

"I'm looking forward to the opportunity to play in Germany", Ideguchi told his new club's official website.

Ideguchi has so far managed a total of 12 appearances for his country, scoring two goals.
