Leeds United playmaker Pablo Hernandez has claimed that he is relishing the opportunity to play under Marcelo Bielsa and feels the Argentine can improve him, despite having entered his 30s.

Hernandez, who has enjoyed a strong start to the new season under the Argentine, continued his form in the win over Rotherham United on Saturday as well.

The former Valencia man has also received a lot of gratitude from his manager for the performances that have catapulted the Whites to a 100 per cent start in the Championship so far.

The 33-year-old has been a regular for Leeds since the start of the season and the Spaniard was not shy of sharing his delight to have played under the former Athletic Bilbao and Marseille coach.

“It is a good experience to work with him, and it is a challenge for me to continue to improve”, Hernandez told the Yorkshire Evening Post.

“I am 33 but I think I can improve with him and I can learn everyday with him. I try to give all of me on the pitch to play for the club”, he added.
