Paris Saint-Germain may dip into the transfer market before the window closes at the end of this week, but they will not test Tottenham Hotspur with a bid for Christian Eriksen.

The French champions have been repeatedly linked with a £100m swoop to sign Eriksen from the Premier League giants.

PSG could enter the market before the window shuts on Friday, but only if they manage to offload Goncalo Guedes.

If Guedes does depart, PSG will still not move for Eriksen, according to French daily Le Parisien.

PSG are still mindful of UEFA's financial fair play rules and do not have the room to make a big money move for Eriksen.

It is also claimed that the Denmark international is in talks with Spurs to sign a new contract.

If PSG do make a signing it is likely to be a left winger and the cost of any deal would be assessed very closely by the Parc des Princes side before it is completed.
