West Brom manager Darren Moore could be given a cash boost to strengthen his squad before the deadline on Friday with the imminent departure of Nacer Chadli, according to BBC Sport.

Chadli, 29, has arrived in France for a pending medical after Monaco agreed a fee with the Championship outfit.

The Baggies’ record signing, who joined the club from Tottenham Hotspur for a reported £18m in 2016, was a star performer for Belgium during the World Cup in Russia and looks likely to depart before the transfer deadline on Friday.

Monaco have had a £10m bid accepted by the Championship club and the revenue generated from the sale is set to hand a cash boost to Moore, who will be looking to strengthen his squad.

Moore will not be standing in the way of Chadli and the Belgian is expected officially become a Monaco player after he agrees personal terms with the club.

Turkish Super Lig outfit Besiktas were also linked with a move for the winger, but it seems like Monaco have stolen a march in the race for the Belgian.

Chadli was restricted to just five Premier League appearances with West Brom due to an injury last season and he is yet to feature for the Baggies after they were relegated to the Championship.
