Bordeaux look to have accepted defeat in their bid to sign Alfredo Morelos from Rangers and have snapped up Andreas Cornelius.
The Ligue 1 side had an offer for Morelos knocked back by Rangers earlier this month and came back with a fresh proposal on deadline day.
Bordeaux were hoping Rangers would have had a change of heart, but the Ibrox giants informed the French side they would not let Morelos leave.
The French club have turned their attentions elsewhere and have now signed Danish striker Cornelius.

Cornelius has landed from Italian side Atalanta and has penned a season-long loan with Bordeaux.
His arrival is expected to end Bordeaux's interest in signing Morelos.
Bordeaux could meet Rangers in the Europa League this season with both sides in the competition.
The Ligue 1 side have been drawn in the same group as Slavia Prague, FC Copenhagen and Zenit St. Petersburg.
