Celtic target Douglas Luiz has completed a move to La Liga club Girona.
The Bhoys were strongly linked with wanting to snap up the Brazilian midfielder on a loan deal from Manchester City.
But Manchester City have instead agreed to send Luiz out on loan to Girona, with whom he spent last term.
Manchester City were keen to arrange a work permit for the 20-year-old this summer, but were unable to do so and he has again been sent to Spain.
The highly rated midfielder joined Manchester City from Brazilian giants Vasco da Gama last summer and put pen to paper to a five-year deal.
Luiz will now be looking to kick on with his development back in La Liga with Girona.
Celtic have landed a midfielder today, in the shape of veteran schemer Youssouf Mulumu, signing him on a two-year deal.
Mulumbu left Kilmarnock after the end of last season.
