Liverpool wide-man Lazar Markovic is not a priority for Anderlecht, but the Belgian giants have agreed a fee for his services.

The Premier League giants want to offload Markovic and earn a transfer fee in the process, with the Serbian now into the final 12 months of his contract at Anfield.

He has flown to Belgium to discuss personal terms with Anderlecht, but the Belgians look unlikely to push the boat out.

Indeed, according to Belgian daily Het Laatste Nieuws, Markovic is not a priority for Anderlecht and the club only moved to sign him because Liverpool slashed their asking price.

Anderlecht are claimed to have agreed to pay €3.25m in England, while in Belgium the figure is put at €3m. A 50 per cent sell-on clause has also been suggested.

Markovic has jetted over to Belgium for a medical and to discuss personal terms.

But with Anderlecht not desperate to sign him, he may have to take a big drop in salary.

Markovic was also wanted by Greek side PAOK Salonika on deadline day.
