Lyon are working to finalise the signing of Moussa Dembele from Celtic before the transfer window in France closes at 23:00 this evening.
Dembele is desperate to quit Celtic to move to Lyon, which would mean a return home and also the chance to play Champions League football this season.
Celtic had appeared to have put an end to the transfer saga earlier today when they rejected selling Dembele.
But according to French sports daily L'Equipe, Lyon are now moving to finalise the signing of Dembele.
The striker's determination to join Lyon is claimed to have changed Celtic's mind and Les Gones are now moving to get the deal over the line.
Dembele could cost Lyon in the region of €20m to sign from Celtic.
Celtic have been set on landing a replacement for Dembele if they do sell and it remains to be seen if they have done so.
But Lyon are nevertheless confident Dembele is set to join up this evening.
